Adam MoskowDr. Moskow has been practicing acupuncture and Oriental medicine since 2007.  He is California state and National board-certified in both acupuncture and Chinese herbology.  Dr. Moskow received his training at the American College of Oriental Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco, which has been widely considered the most extensive and rigorous Oriental medicine program in the United States.

Dr. Moskow began his journey into the healing arts in 2003 when he started working with biofeedback therapies. While reading the subtle energies of the body and delivering rectifying frequencies with clients he realized there was more he needed to offer clients and he soon began his intensive Acupuncture and TCM studies.  Dr. Moskow learned intricate pulse diagnosis as an apprentice with modern pulse master, Dr. Robert Levine, and utilizes this in his daily practice. He has been trained by another modern master, Dr. Teh-Fu Tan, in Balance Method and I-Ching acupuncture which is world renowned for powerful, dynamic healings and fast results. Dr. Moskow also has worked closely with Dr. Lifang Liang in her thriving fertility & women’s health clinic in San Francisco. One of his major influences is his own father, Howard, who is also an acupuncturist, holistic physical therapist and energy healer. In 2007 Dr. Moskow built a healing practice with his father in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

His practice encompasses not only acute and chronic pain, but also a wide variety of internal medicine conditions, including digestive, gynecological, psychological and emotional issues such as anxiety & depression.  An area of special interest is functional medicine including blood chemistry, stool, urine and breath analysis to support those with blood sugar problems, thyroid disorders, hormone imbalances, anemic conditions and especially gut pathologies. Dr. Moskow has taken advanced functional medicine training with Apex Energetics as well as the Kresser Institute among others.

Using the methods and thinking of TCM, including clinical “pattern discrimination” and classical pulse and tongue diagnosis along with functional medicine, Dr. Moskow takes great care to tailor treatment to the needs and presentation of each patient, and to alter his therapeutic approach as the situation warrants.  In keeping with a holistic focus on the underlying causes of imbalance and illness, he also emphasizes lifestyle modifications, where factors such as poor diet, sleep, or exercise habits significantly contribute to.

Dr. Moskow has also been influenced by ancient shamanic practices which have advanced his healing techniques significantly.  Through South American shamanism he discovered the combination of using vibrational sound with his treatments. Dr. Moskow’s fully-tuned set of Tibetan singing bowls came together and he has been combining acupuncture with the ancient frequencies of the metal singing bowls ever since with dramatic healing results.

Dr. Moskow is certified nationally with the NCCAOM as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and in California which requires even higher standards for practice.
